LOLAZ Comedy Competition: OCT 10th 2008 8:00pm The Goathead Saloon 1423 S Country Club Dr. Mesa, AZ 85210
Friar's Lantern and The Goathead Saloon
present LOLAZ, a comedy competition that isn't for the squeamish. 20 of the most talented Stand-up comedians in the valley
will meet on Oct 10th at the world famous Goathead in Mesa to beat eachother to death with sticks... well, either that or
tell jokes for a chance at a chunk of the night's profits. Leaning towards the latter, but we'll have sticks on hand
just in case.
The comics will
have ten minute sets to win the crowd over.
How it works: All attendees will be given a voting ballot upon arrival. With this ballot, three votes will be
cast; 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Based upon predetermined values, these rankings will be used to calculate a score for each comic. No
judging, no winning by default... just a wad of hard earned cash for some schmuck who skips through life on his sense of humor.
Your vote is the only one that counts.
The winning comic
will win 30 percent of the night's profits in cash, paid the night of. Tickets: $10.00
The Goat Head Saloon (480) 464-8030 Standing

media and other memorabilia are available at varying prices or for a varying number of food items contributed. You can also
purchase (with food) a spot for your party in our VIP section, rub elbows with the band and enjoy the event from one of the

(i.e. cash cover/donations) gathered at this event will be donated in whole to The Phoenix Children's Hospital.
